"Hey everyone, how is everyone doing? I'm having a wonderful time. This week was really fun. After we got done writing emails, we went and had a BBQ at one of the parks for a Zone Activity, It was really fun. We played Ultimate Frisbee, and of course I won, what do you expect when you have the best player?"
"After that we went over to go visit a family we knocked into with a member. It went by really well, the mother and the daughter said that they believed what we taught them. The Father has a hard time understanding English, but he is very kind. They said they would come to church, but they didn't show up. Sunday was a sad day, only 2 investigators showed up out of like 10 so it was very sad. But we did get a less active family to come, and we have been working with them for a while now, ever since we got here in March, so we were thrilled to see them there."
"We've been knocking a lot the last couple of days because last weeks finding hours were bad. We went knocking in the rain with no umbrellas for 2 hours. It was actually really fun. As long as you have a companion you get along with really well. We talked to a lot of nice people and found 1 new investigator, we should be stopping by sometime today if needed."
"We finally got a hold of the Reyes family by calling them with a different phone and guess what, they answered. So we know they have been ignoring us, we will be able to find out more later when we go see them tomorrow."
"We are being so blessed in this area, everything is so different from my other area. This is even more country then my last. As long as you're being obedient."
And the kicker:
"GUESS WHAT.... I just found out that Snoop Dogg is joining the church, it's on CSN, that's insane! What a nerd! He totally fell for that one! That was circulated on April Fool's Day, but many people didn't quite catch the joke. It seems that people are still falling for it. Funny! Well that's all this week, sorry I cut it a little short. Love you all!"
